Jason Johnson joined the new management team at Stinar, LLC during the first quarter of 2020 at their new location in Blooming Prairie, Minn.
Johnson will concentrate on Stinar’s commercial airlines and airport relationships; many of which have been in place since the late 1940’s. Stinar produces aviation stairs (towable and chassis mounted), as well as catering lift trucks, lavatory service carts/trucks, potable water carts/trucks, various specialty lifts, platforms and vehicles – typically specified by the military.
Johnson is also General Manager of the Bandit Big Rig Series – a big rig, short track racing event series and will serve in the same capacity with Kruckeberg Industries – parent company of Stinar, LLC. Previously, Johnson was a senior account manager and national training manager for Minimizer, a leader in the heavy truck part manufacturing industry.
“I’ve watched Johnson develop in sales and particularly in service-after-the-sale systems for about 20 years,” said Stinar CEO Craig Kruckeberg. “We expect that the aviation industry will love his attention to detail and ability to “get-it-when-you-need-it.”
Johnson also leads a team to ensure all Stinar parts are available for quick shipment; even for equipment dating back 40+ years.
“Our product has a reputation of lasting decades long; being able to get parts easily is a plus,” Johnson said. “We have shown the ability to manufacture these parts on nearly any piece of equipment dating back to the early days of Stinar.”
Stinar continues to add new state-of-the-art equipment to fulfill any parts requests that come through.
Stinar recently completed a permanent facility move from Eagan, MN to Blooming Prairie, MN; and the company is also in the process of re-designing much of its traditional product line.
“Our new models also use modern materials, computer-laser and 3D digital print processes that enhance everything about the finished pieces,” Johnson said.
Johnson said he is excited to talk to commercial aviation ground support equipment leaders about the advantages of the redesigned line.
“Stinar equipment will always be built with features that make it reliable and nearly indestructible,” said Johnson.
Johnson lives in Blooming Prairie, MN with his fiancé and three children. He can be reached at [email protected]
