The husband of a Clinton Township woman who died in a 2018 pedestrian accident at Main and Grove streets in Somerville has asked a Superior Court judge to rule that the Bridgewater Raritan Regional School District is liable for negligence by the district maintenance worker who was driving the van that struck the woman.

Jonathan McConnachie is asking Judge Thomas Miller for the ruling in the wrongful death case brought in connection to the July 31, 2018 accident which claimed the life of his wife, 52-year-old Christine McConnachie. Miller will decide on the motion next month.
